Intel 520 SSD 240GB issues

has had success using intel 520 series in mini's? installed 520 240gb ssd , has been formatting last 2 hours stuck @ 50%. can't seem find firmware upgrade osx.

afraid 1 may not work , i'll have return else (and have stop format may make drive inoperable). not it's working now.

ideas gang?

hi rippey, got same drive (180gb version). going put in mac mini soon, weekend.

what's drive's firmware version number? realize may late now, it's useful take photo of intel sticker before put in mac mini. not easy pop-in install in laptop.

version #: g40541-300

i'll find out version , check firmware updates. did lion os re-install via internet recovery? think i'm gonna try make myself bootable usb beforehand.
