iPad users: would you recommend dropping MBPS for iPad

im considering dropping 2010 macbook pro , buying ipad primary. has done this? opinions?

 

only can answer it's down how use devices

use macbookpro both novel writing , photoshop/web ui development - latter not possible on ipad.

ipads acceptable lightweight content creation, *not* excellant @ it. macbook pro excellant @ heavyweight content creation apart high-end video or 3d. need desktop.

if consuming data, i'd consider getting rid of macbook - , ipad perfect consumption.
