OS X Mountain Lion's Documents in the Cloud Simplifies File Access Across Devices

apple of course extending functionality beyond iwork in os x mountain lion, icloud file storage showing in other apps such textedit. apple releasing apis allow third-party apps take advantage of feature.

the functionality naturally being compared of dropbox, allows users save files directly dropbox accounts access anywhere, apple's new icloud solution offers advantage of displaying files intended use app being used, helping filter list of documents , offering ios-like folder organization of files.

ok - cool! although don't fact it's limited computer person owns... i.e couldn't go work , save documents in icloud, bypassing lost usb drives?
