i want place static nfs entries in fstab, via vifs, in non-system location (like /mnt). seems automounter grabs hold of , remounts them after manually umount them, not want.
need mounts automounter isn't going use, fstab managed otherwise (config management).
looked through manpage , didn't see obvious options avoid this, leads me believe somehow automounter "different" in os x (as opposed linux). way os, or there clever way around it. have autofs configs in /etc?
/etc/auto_master has:
#
# automounter master map
#
+auto_master # use directory service
/net -hosts -nobrowse,hidefromfinder,nosuid
/home auto_home -nobrowse,hidefromfinder
/network/servers -fstab
/- -static
don't want go through gui or os x dependent, plain , simple fstab mount do.
can advise on what's going on here , whether there way around this?
in advance...
