My Ordeal in Getting my iPad 1 Replaced Under Warranty

so, time ago hit forum asking if members thought ipad 1 switched out before applecare warranty ends because of flexing side of screen. got worse point of right side has sunken in, , pretty clear see binding becoming problem. warranty ending next saturday, went genius bar today before venture school spring quarter switched out. first genius talked understood , assured me switched out. then, came out wouldn't able switch out because deemed "wear , tear." told them unacceptable because there's no way ipad screen should unbinding metal casing before hits 2 years of use. assistant manager came out , gave me same story, again told them unacceptable , wanted talk store manager (instead of assistant). before went him, made sure tell them own both iphone 4s, macbook pro, 2 ipods, , ipad , assured them i'd using current at&t upgrade on different phone , selling of apple products , buying others instructing family , friends same (i didn't plan so, wanted show them how angry was). there other customers standing around table , giving 2 cents since eavesdropping (adding in, "give kid replacement! it's under warranty!" , "you should replace it, guys."), manager came out , started give me same old line. told them thank , shall selling products upon getting home, manager came me before hit door , told me replace ipad.

swear, out of sitcom or something, because after 20-25 customers started clapping in support. never did think have been such ordeal ipad replaced under warranty, guess got laugh , silly story out of it.

wow can't believe hard on you! when have problems, go out of way me, , when apologized trouble caused rather annoying iphone 4 bug, laughed off , said apple multi billion dollar company , giving me new phone free no problem @ all, , that's applecare for.

congrats on getting taken care of, though.
