MBA 13 life expectancy

hi forum,

(most likely) purchasing mba 13" low end model within few weeks, wanted clear questions before take plunge.

given mba virtually impossible upgrade, having realatively low power cpu, how long can expect work (smoothly enough complete general tasks @ acceptable speed)?

fear last 1.5-2 years before starts becoming slow, , have no way upgrade it. last @ least 3 years, , im hoping 4. or shouldnt worried about...

 

i have macbook 2006 still gets daily use today. can't run lion due 32 cpu runs snow leopard fine. on second battery though.
