i in process of transferring daughters old videos dvds. digitized old sony tapes , have them transferred mac. have 65gb free on 1tb drive. therefore want delete can after burn each video dvd. problem don't know files involved in creating movie imovie burning idvd. information available someplace or can tell me can rid of give me hd space? appreciate can get.

can give advice on how did this. in process of converting videos well, using roxio vhs dvd, , feel not cutting quality wise. plus, once captures each vhs takes 6 gb in mpeg2 format. not great imo.
on hard drive though, assume end raw mpeg2 capture, , once converted , ready burn video_ts folder. thats intend on keeping.
