Battery life still rubbish

getting annoyed this, battery life rubbish on ios 5.0.1 set new phone, no difference, turned of icloud, no difference, , today went hassle of installing brand new battery thinking battery problem again no difference, took phone of charger 30 mins ago, checked twitter , emails , phone down 10% 2 mins of use , sitting idle. ideas?
