ALL iPhone users are being throttled, even if you are capped by vodafone.

ios 5.0.1, vodafone au 11.1:

apn: live.vodafone.com data

speeds sole exception of speedtest.net throttled around 1/3 speed. proven speedtest on server, vodafone doesn't "prioritize".

android phones, vodafone mobile broadband, dumbphones:

vfinternet.au data

no throttle, fast.

select advanced.

apn:

vfinternet.au

username: leave blank

password: leave blank (vodafone doesn't require username/passwd)

alternatively: go http://unlockit.co.nz/ on iphone , select australia / vodafone.

 

we need special conspiracies forum you. seem find @ least 1 or 2 every week. congrats on latest discovery. still love iphone though.
