when unpack , set new gadget read instruction manual first, or when find self unable complete task?

ask noticed got older (i not wiser) read instruction books more. i'm 64yrs old open box first read whole instruction manual.

 

depends on item. if it's simple device, kettle, i'm ignore manual. if it's more complex, or has battery might require specific first-use charging best life i'll open manual.
