Boy! Time Machine restore takes an age ...


morning all
couple of days ago swapped hdd in mid-2009 13" mbp ssd of same size (512gb). i'm restoring files time machine backup & it's taking age - 24 hours far & 70 hours go!

searching web, seems pretty normal, unless wants tell me otherwise ...

i'm restoring 500gb across 100m/bit wired & wifi, 2tb time capsule

guess have patient, being without mac few days not pleasant. wonder if need join mac-addicts-anonymous ...
 

or if still have old hdd contents, put usb enclosure 2.5" s-ata hdds , boot , use carboncopycloner clone ssd, faster restoring slow network connected time capsule.
