need help with audio problem

hi guys i'm new forum got mac few months ago

mac os x version 10.6.8
, problem im having sound out put
remember when first had mac when ever i'm playing karaoke song on youtube can move balance of speaker left via setting of sound out put able turn off original singer , still able hear sound both speakers ear phone

after downloaded program called wire tab can't anymore sound come out 1 side of ear phone t.t

ps: ofcoz wire tab can fix problem i'm using trail version expire >.<

if can me on how fix or recommend me program download appreciated (free software plz coz not own credit card or debit card t.t)
