Flatout 2 weird graphics issue (on a MacBook Pro 4.1 with OS X 10.7.3)

hi all,

played flatout 2 on macbook pro 2,5ghz (4gb ram, 2008, os x 10.7.3), , noticed cars weirdly «exploded», system had problems rendering them in 3d.

idea on way fix problem (which not occurring previous version of game — showed after last upgrade)?
