i have garageband 11, , have old mono recording of john denver. audio plays in left channel only.. recorded way. anyways want audio fed both left , right channels. audio video. imported video garageband, , deleted video, , i'm left audio want be.
technically not stereo, 2 channel mono. how do this?
if remember right, used able select part of audio bottom part (double click on track bring advance editor up) , select sections of track , cut them out. when try select part of it, flextime editing stuff comes up. how select part of track delete instead of using split every time?
thanks!

garageband has "left/right" control tracks, not?
can tinkering produce desired results?
if not, try this:
- create second track in garageband (empty moment)
- duplicate audio of first track, move second track
- now, use "l/r" control in each track, manipulate until 1 track "balances out" against other, left-to-right-wise.
- then, export "mono mixed" track, either mp3 or aiff.
if doesn't work, might try downloading free "audacity" app. may have tool can conversion need (which think "left" "stereo").
