Turning off contacts

given apple let path, google, facebook , others access contacts without permission, , haven't patched yet, how use contacts on iphone without letting apps exploit hole apple left open?

thinking of leaving contacts in sim, , moving them when , if apple fixes this, don't know how accomplish that.

, there app allows use of contacts isn't part of mail, contacts, calendar setup?
