iOS color preference?

hi all,

new ipad out, wondering color preference distribution now.

when ipad 2 came out, black seemed default colour - following ipad 1.

now, looks apple once again pushing white signature color (the first new ipad photo shown white, , 90% of marketing materials new ipad shows in white)

i'm wondering consensus

poll below.

me: iphone in black, , ipad in white. think white iphone looks odd, hard, square edges, soft white doesn't match it... attempt make otherwise masculine design more feminine (like every other phone manufacturers out there trying make girl's version of phone)...the ipad however, looks cool white, more tapered , soft curves - gives sort of more high-tech look... take.

 

i think black design looks cleaner. white version has surface areas broken more.
