Can't transfer any iTunes songs from MacBook Air to iPad

tried doing search here , google answers turned wild goose chase getting me nowhere. lot of similar threads no answers me.

macbook air 10.7.2 latest itunes 10.5.3 , ipad (gen1) has 5.0.1 apple "music" app replaced "ipod" app.

because of ridiculous common problem of "ipad synced itunes library", won't let me move itunes songs imported cds, ipad unless "erase ipad" above message says. ipad synced old laptop no longer have since there work-around sync, there work-around transfer songs?

in "sync music" window on macbook, selected songs in itunes transfer ipad when clicking apply error above. tried right clicking ipad in itunes there isn't applicable there use, tried anyway nothing works. crazy.

you can sync music 1 computer, make work need let erase includes inside music , videos.. because apple isn't keen file sharing , that's why cannot sync on several computers, otherwise file sharing obsolete..
