Premiere Pro CS5 or CS5.5, DLSR Footage, and 1st Gen Mac Pro - Anyone using?

hey everyone.

been trying find solid answer days, , seems hypothetical only. tried adobe forums, response got felt need point out price of pc.

have 1st gen mac pro, , i'm using production premium cs4. have 8gb of ram upgrade that. shoot video canon 5d , 7d. start editing native dslr video, , stick adobe production suite can bounce , forth between pp , ae easily. however, 64-bit requirement gets tricky.

due original mac pros not being 100% true 64-bit, concerned may spend $500 on upgrade won't work. (defintiely can't afford new mac pro) answers i've found speculate there shouldn't problem. i'd hear confirmation using 1st gen mac pro cs5.5 edit dslr footage.

so, using setup edit? , how work?

adobe has 30-day trial of premiere pro cs 5.5 available download website. think best thing download , try out yourself! won't overwrite current cs4 version, it's thing do.
