hey guys, got first apple computer few days ago (macbook pro 13" late 2011) , put samsung 830 120gb ssd in within few hours of playing computer. issue mbp not it's slow or crashes having ssd. in fact, mbp boots in 11 seconds tops , launches applications faster.
anyway, problem fan. coming windows laptop, haven't come close hearing fan loud (i don't gaming). within last 2 days, i've heard go 6000 rpm more 10 times. first time when clean-installing lion on ssd using internet recovery. then, second time when updating lion , other programs on first software update. other times, it's watching flash video or html5 video on youtube. recently, saw itunes take +100% cpu , had quit application because cpu 82c , fan @ 6000 rpm. upon quitting application, temperature dropped within seconds. (for reference, idle temp sits around @ 52c).
so, question whether have problem ssd or problem macbook pro. or rather, normal. i'm disturbed itunes making cpu usage spike high.
thanks!
sounds normal me. itunes doing when taking 100% of cpu?
