Exposé and working in multiple windows FRUSTRATION

hi all- has been 1 of greatest frustrations osx in couple years since switched away windows. i've felt there must missing, because convoluted there not common-sense workaround. issue (and request help):

rather tedious in experience work in multiple windows (ie dragging 1 thing another) in osx if both not visible beginning. might have success dragging file on dock , can speed opening functions hitting space bar, (in perception) windows expect there aren't.

same token expose/mission control don't show visible windows. maybe minimized or something. can become quite annoying, being in mission control, not seeing it, clicking , holding on dock icon , waiting give context menu shows windows. why can't expose show me everything? when porn closed week ago automatically open roommate's girlfriend if clicks tv show resume.. can't @ current window? got icon drag here.

able tolerate lot of this, having switched trackpad on imac don't have real estate doing long combinations of click+drag more. in windows consistent hover on taskbar icon , window pops up. true, annoying error message dropping directly on taskbar program, @ least want down there.

bother other people? workarounds? learned spacebar trick , think need learn more, i've thought laziness
