iTunes Rental on iPad

if rent movie using mac , transfer rental ipad, need internet connection (wifi or 3g) view rented movie? i'm asking because i'd rent movie , watch on long flight in won't have internet access. thanks.

 

you not need internet connection. rental play fine on flight without wi-fi.
