i cant send text or recieve text messages on my iphone can someone help?

i connected iphone4 h20 unlimited talk , text. reason cant send text messages or recieve. read turn off imessages did , cant send messages able recieve until turned off. cant nothing texting. if experienced problem before please let me know how fix it. running ios 5.0

 

you need call company or check forums find out carrier settings sms , mms. mention have unlocked iphone , i'm sure plenty of people can out.
