Why do people buy used iPads??

i sold 16gb wifi ipad2 $400. matter of fact, i've sold of apple products shortly before new 1 came out. question every time is, why people buy year old used product, albeit 1 in condition, instead of new 1 little bit more. amazes me every time.

some people grandfather stingy penny pinchers.i called him out once because sold 11 year old laptop guy no knowledge whatsoever.its in peoples natures
