my 2011 macbook air 13" screen cracked under insanely slight pressure , apple wants $450 replace ****** screen, other repair options there? see techrestore offers replacement around $450 well.
i've read, people claim entire top clamshell needs replaced - true? thought 11" screen replaced careful application of heat gun soften glue adheres screen bezel... same 2011 13"? diy? if so, have personal experience of companies sell replacement screens of similar quality?
i'd repair cheaply possible since i'm going selling , purchasing thinkpad, tryst apple laptops has been filled nothing disappointment , frustration
