keypad comes on and beeps while I'm on phone

haven't seen problem listed anywhere else. while i'm talking on phone, if cheek gets anywhere near screen, opens keypad , starts hitting keys , making loud beeps. how can stop opening keypad when i'm on call?

 

is blocking proximity sensor, such case, or screen protector.
