i want purchase app , have choice of mac app store $5.50 or developer website $5.00. thought had read somewhere if apps mas have free updates life. true? if buy mas without second though never have buy new version again.
there's no guarantee of free updates life, developer release new version under different name (just add version number) , still have pay new version. however, have benefit of working on computers, while version developer's site may more (or less) restrictive. depends on developer offers.
