MAC PRO 13 or 15?

i senior in high school. have laptop 1 year , half. dell 15r; getting really slow. 1 day last week, took on 3 mins start windows.....
going buy mac pro summer. don't know 1 choose, high-end 13 inch or low-end 15 inch or high-end 15 inch.
having 15 inch laptop now. screeen size; can't imagine being smaller. hope new laptop little lighter; dell 15r super heavy me(i'm short girl...), dropped once because couldn't handle while holding 2 ap books... going major in computer science , have part time job doing photoshop. don't play games watch movies , make videos. btw, don't have desktop use personally. laptop gonna used 10+ hours every day.

high-end 15 inch mac pro highest of budget. gotta save money college xp

please give me advice!

looks dell 15r has 1366x768 resolution. comparatively, 13in mbp has 1280x800 resolution , 15in mbp 1440x900 resolution. 15in available in 1650x1050 resolution, i've heard pretty nice.

based on resolutions alone, used 13in or 15in easily. 13in less in width 86 pixels (43 on each side), more in height 32 pixels. 15in bests 15r 74 pixels (37 on each side) , 132 pixels in width , height respectively.

budget high end 15in mbp ($2199), have lot of options. 1 thing i'd keep in mind, however, if you're concerned weight, 15in mbp weighs as 15r (5.6lb vs 5.7lb, respectively). if value weight on screen size, leaves 13in.

when watch movies, use dvd or stream/download? , apps use make movies?

have considered going 13in macbook air? it's still within price range , has same resolution 15in mbp (1440x900), higher 13in mbp. weighs considerably less 15in mbp , 13in mbp (2.96lb vs 5.6lb vs 4.5lb, respectively).

if don't need ports or dvd drive, i'd suggest mba. though if you're doing photoshop on side, i've read mbp's screen has better color gamut, advantageous possibly. solid state drive (ssd) of mba run circles around non-ssd mbp though (which make huge difference if you're concerned operating systems booting slowly).

granted, go 13in mbp , upgrade ssd , still under budget. i'd either go 13in mbp or 13in mba. if had pick between mbp , mba, i'd choose mba, i'm biased. haha

edit- forgot basic question... hard drive size requirements?
