Screen Flashes blue in Google Chrome

it started today, after launch google chrome, part, if not entire window flash blue. in chrome, because have not experienced problem in safari. ideas?

 

i uninstall chrome. check library odd leftover files, , install freshly downloaded copy. in experience having used chrome since day one, it's been fast & trouble free. situation may fluke.
