i buy set of nice wireless stereo headphones use new ipad 3. i've been reading technical articles shortcomings of bluetooth a2dp (specifically lag more anything). there great article 2008 on here it. http://www.electronicsweekly.com/articles/15/09/2008/44505/bluetooth-gets-audio-quality-overhaul.htm
seems choice have low lag, high quality stereo headsets use apt-x headsets (like sennheiser px 210 bt apt-x) along dongle give ipad apt-x compression ability.
seems mad me newest ipad , iphone 4s don't support apt-x natively yet, although include bluetooth 4.0 standard hardly else uses yet.
i'd love able use bluetooth 4.0 if enables low lag stereo audio, of course there aren't bt4.0 headphones out there yet test this.
reason need low lag want use them when playing games, , don't want hearing sounds 0.5 seconds later occur in-game.
here have real experience of apt-x solutions in relation lag , sound quality? dongle battery drain?
ive been using bt headphones several years , lag hasn't been concern.
concern 128kb stream u it's trade off
pair , see u think. amazon has excellent return policy.
have older sony bt cans , love them
