board of education chairman gene nocera acknowledged in interview foxnews.com reports rooms "disturbing" , said school officials investigating use.

"we understand parents' concern , take concerns seriously," nocera said. "we want sure our students being treated safely." stressed under school policy, no child left alone @ time.

nocera said first learned last week spaces, size of "book room," , said being used handle special education students, few of whom have "history of behavioral issues."

nocera went on , others presented plan parents @ board of education meeting tuesday night in response reports. said school district looking give more resources school, including hiring full-time psychologists , providing more training faculty.
