Question about restoring boot partition on MBA

i got mac mini i'm using @ home, , i'm wanting clean install of osx on 11" mba. replaced stock ssd owc 240gb ssd. when replacing it, instead of restoring backup, merely used carbon copy cloner clone drive , promptly installed it. after using few weeks, told *does not* copy invisible lion recovery partition. don't have usb key lion on it.

best way clean install of lion in situation?

carbon copy cloner beta version 3.4.4-b1 , later clone lion recovery hd partition.
