hi guys,
yesterday installed kingston 60gb ssdnow v200+ on mac mini 2011 supposed reads of 535mb , writes of 460mb i'm not getting close that..
able boot in 17 seconds, applications & games launch quickly, reason reads , writes i'm seeing on xbench or black magic speed test poor..
should worried? have trim enabled..
altough it's still faster normal hard drives, it's indeed pretty slow ssd. sure it's sata3-ssd (too lazy google..)? if is, reboot , redo tests applications closed. if speeds don't go up, wise other benchmarks of ssd. if they're faster - return new 1 if want speed (yeah, know, work...), if not, you've bought slow ssd.
