MyWi On Demand host doesn't see client

i purchased wi on demand while , i've never been able on demand work. client (ipad) sees host , can click on , see forget device , there's green arrow next it. iphone side (host) says looking devices.

i'm on latest ios on both , it's ipad 1 64gb wifi , iphone 4 16gb.

tried reinstall of mywi , restart far.

ideas?
