General questions regarding Apple TV 1

i got apple tv 1 40gb today in mail ebay, picked $56.80, didn't come in original packaging or don't know lol.

set , wouldn't set setting other 480i, wifi wouldn't connect, , apple remote wouldn't stop changing volume on mbp after paired atv1, did factory reset , worked out perfect, minor set back?

have working, can't itunes library portion working, tells me come in itunes devices section doesn't.

thing can't figure out why youtube part won't connect anything, every section tells me "no content found" gives?

did quick search , seen posts january saying how apple disabled out of no where? did ever go up? youtube ever work again on apple tv 1?

how turn thing off? part bothering me can't figure out off button or button combinations remote?

tried go on apple support site , tells me enter hardware serial number , country not thinking selected canada after failed remembered bought united states tried , still failed? don't know country of origin apple tv 1 how can figure out?

i'm having more problems success little guy

all did command + q itunes, reopened it, , bam! works said.

before restoring checked updates , told me have current version, on apple tells me 3.0.2 newest while apple tv insists 2.0 current version. after restoring not did find 3.0.2 update install went perfect. have 3.0.2 youtube works better ui upgrade! guess apple disabled youtube access lesser firmware versions.

after update 3.0.2 found standby option.

i still don't know don't need apple troubleshooting anymore needed restore update.

if knows how figure out apple tv region still love know in case need anymore can check out apple.
