Garageband for Multi-Voice Narration

interested in using garageband record audio-book narration, in there 1 reader.

however, set different track each of main characters, in order enhance character distinction applying filters later.

question --> there way switch quickly, on fly, e.g. using short-cut keys, between tracks?
