Find my iPhone without iCloud?

is possible activate find iphone without icloud account? have 4s on 5.0.1 icloud causing massive battery drain , excessive data usage on t-mobile. i've tested few days after deleting icloud account off phone , battery life better.

there way have find iphone activated without icloud? have no use icloud except find iphone.

 

did turn off icloud features except find iphone?
