Uneven screen lighting (not backlight bleeding)


i received ipad earlier today. crispness of retina display incredible, makes huge difference while browsing in portrait mode. setting old ipad 2 family member , kept thinking how fuzzy seemed after using new ipad.

unfortunately, noticed top left of screen seemed different color shade. apparent on white , grey backgrounds, such macrumor forum. i'm curious if received dud, or if other people experiencing similar issues. i've attached couple photos illustrate problem.

photos taken while in landscape mode, it's bottom left corner that's issue.

i'm debating whether or not it's enough return it. it's not big deal, $700 expect little more =p

ipad 2 had dimmed edge on long side too. never ended bothering me.
