i have been pondering getting mba instead.
have 2011 mbp 13 base. great machine. have no complaints, find don't work on music anymore, reason opted mbp on mba. take mbp me everyday work, wasnt before , thought of lighter machine enticing.
indulge me here, know mbp forum, guess wonder if else feels way. again, great machine , lion runs on it. had been thinking of jumping 8gb or ram , going ssd. figure these additions worth cash , looking tbd later year.
obviously, selling/trading mbp mba kill cash , push purchase of tbd. , thin, tapered design of mba's.
when buy mac, expect getting @ least 4 years out of it, , go , buy mba right now, working hard on saving money not want (i'll moving summer).
thoughts?
the mbp 8 gb ram , ssd give 4 years. air limited 4 gb of ram, might limit longevity.
but, if limited getting 13'' macbook, might still go air. there not in 13'' mbp justifies carrying around 1.5 pounds, screen resolution higher on air, , once factor in cost ssd, price difference small.
