own mid 2010 13" macbook pro 2.4ghz intel core 2 duo 4gb ram , switched hdd ssd. it's performance use higher resolution display thinking upgrading new macbook air 1.7ghz i5. or step in performance?
difference in performance between 1.7ghz i5 , 2.4ghz intel core 2 duo?

i upgraded same mbp base 2011 13" mba (although didn't replace hdd ssd). apart maybe step backward in gaming performance, mba has exceeded expectations in other fronts.
posted complete list of geekbench scores here generations of mbp, imacs, mac pro etc. , current mba beats high end 2010 mbps.
