Syncing Outlook with iCal to share with other iCals

this seems pretty simple, before , screw anything, wanted double-check macrumors.

wife's work computer uses outlook, trying find way sync outlook ical , share our ical between each 2 of us.

uses ipad & iphone, it's @ work use outlook express.

did ever manage this? i'm quite sure long , convoluted process earlier versions of both outlook , ios hoping, latest outlook, there has been breakthrough?? fingers crossed! ohhhhhh apple ...
