Swapping sim card from AT&T to Verizon?

sales person @ apple store claims can swap sim cards make at&t ipad verizon one. true or false?

 

false. according http://www.apple.com/ipad/specs/ 4g at&t ipad 3 not have cdma/ev-do support, nor support verizon's lte frequencies.

opposite true though. 4g verizon ipad 3 can work on at&t's 3g network (but not at&t lte).
