Help syncing Android phone to iphoto

hi all,

i'm using samsung galaxy s phone, had no problem being recognized on our (ok, her) 2010 13" mbp running snow leopard. plug in usb cable, hit "mount" button on phone , mbp open iphoto, download photos, , allow me upload podcasts phone.

have 2011 i5 27" imac brilliantly - except sync phone. plug in usb usual, , iphoto start on mbp, doesn't usual auto upload of new photos. seems looking in wrong directory on phone's memory card. can plug mbp , recognized , upload. leads me believe issue imac. ideas? know mac basics, i'm pretty noob. there settings missing on imac? thanks.
