SSD more trouble than it's worth?

this has been addressed in various posts apologise in advance (but can't find specific).

have 2011 mbp 13 inch sata ii in optical drive bay. rather put ssd in main bay stock hdd doesn't have sms, ssd need in optical bay. said, don't move around other in sleep mode. big risk?

i've been looking @ crucial m4 64gb boot drive. work, or problematic respect sleep mode (and closing lid), unreliability, not booting etc.?

 

i've had 0 problems samsung 470. can't speak crucial drive.
