HELP, replaced screen now problems

so replaced digitizer , lcd both , going okay, hooked , phone powers , shows apple nice , bright second becomes dim , stays dim..i tried adjusting brightness , not make diffirence....the touch scren works fine dim...also speaker doesnt work. can hear people on speakerphone...is there forgot do? or should looking fix this?? hoping can point me in right direction... iphone 3gs 16gb.
