Surround Speaker Placement

i wondering if there specialised tool positioning speakers, 'cause set new 7.1 system home theatre , ended throwing myself, quite hassle , don't know if last if end setting friends systems well, know angles getting speakers in right spot little fiddly.

curious i've got klipsch speakers, , onkyo amp (my dsotm sacd sounds... *trails off thinking how indescribable sounds*

if not maybe i'll have make little more solid , sell myself

people placing speakers easy part. hard part placing sofa. place on wall in surround system has go 1/2 way between tv screen , wall.

if run sofa way there not place put speakers.

can make of room treatments, make rear wall "soft" , not quite bad. unless room huge there no "best" placements, compromises
