Superdrive in my quicksilver

okay guys helped me out alot getting quicksilver 800mhz dp set leopard. encountered problem. superdrive isn't being recognized computer. work burned dvd night before tried burning leopard disk. stock pioneer dvd-rw came machine. show in hardware, , let me eject drive, doesnt show @ all. when show , go disk utility burn dmg says waiting on drive. let wait while ejects drawer. @ 1 point said ready burn , tried hung , said drive being used. have no idea may going on. there little installed outside of toast, diablo, vuze , music , movies. appreciated guys! leopard lol

 

i know toast causes problems when it's open. reason, once it's open doesn't let happen drive. physical button on drive won't open while toast open.

edit: cant remember if toast needs doing or not happen.
