if bought leather smart cover , want rid of color bleed follow steps below.

if shine of cover not follow these step. if want shine closer car leather continue.

need have paper towels, 70% alcohol , leather conditioner , cleaner.

use lexol cleaner , conditioner on cars leather , using on ipad cover.

first thing want saturate paper towel in alcohol , rub entire surface of cover. may need use 2 or 3 paper towels in order majority of excessive color out.

once getting light bleeding dry cover.

want use leather cleaner. spray directly on cover can entire coverage easily. once rubbed in wipe off excessive cleaner.

can use conditioner finish off cover. same way cleaner , wipe off clean paper towel afterwards.

picture taken flash darker appears.


using leather cleaner , conditioner monthly should keep cover in shape , prevent drying out , scratching easily.

 

what happens if don't use alcohol? also, why use conditioner before cleaner? wouldn't make more sense clean condition? if conditioning first, won't cleaner remove conditioning?

i'm ignorant on these matters. don't have alcohol , bought cream color smart cover avoid stains , like. input appreciated.
