i bought broken macbook pro off of ebay. 2010 model unibody. laptop listed working , other times not, messaged seller , got further details. told me wasn't sure 1 of water indicators had been set off when genius bar looked @ it, told me knowledge no water had been spilled it, , if had had been assumed not same problem because wouldn't have been (he had no near liquid). after purchasing laptop, there minute signs of water damage including 1 faintly pink water indicator. here breakdown of issues has, , note have brand new magsafe charger.
-without magsafe charger plugged in if push battery indicator nothing happens.
-when plug in magsafe charger turns green.
-with charger if push battery indicator flashed 5 times (indicating bad battery).
-when push power button nothing happens. magsafe charger has no reaction, stays green.
way seems looks me logic board good, though possibly battery not. macbook pro 2010 model draw power through battery while plugged charger? sound battery issue, or logic board still have failed?

try disconnecting battery indicator board logic board. it's small connector around bottom right corner. if machine starts disconnected, replace , should fine.
