Getting flashing ? After installing Leopard 10.5.6 on new drive in G5

so got new sata 1tb 7200 , decided use in g5 (powerpc dual2.0ghz 3.25g ram). installed drive in bay , booted leopard disk. able partition dive , installed osx. once computer rebooted after install flashing ?. i'm beginning wonder bios or needs told new drive bootable drive. pulled old drive out. fyi if put old drive in, works fine. put new drive in flashing question mark. ideas?

 

how did partition drive? apm? guid or mbr?

if on ppc partition should apm bootable.
