Mac Mini Server (2011) & Xcode development

hi all-

i'm noticing "strange" behavior when try compile , run pretty simple projects under xcode 4.2. hitting 'run' button builds , runs.. other times beachball spins 5-10 seconds before runs.

normal performance on mac mini and/or xcode?

i'm running mini ssd , 16gb of ram.

i've had odd (seemingly intermittent) behavior xcode. need restart thing. if restarting xcode doesn't post more details. problem happen when x, problem happen in projects or project y?
